§ 5001. Instructions.

Upon the petition of the commission or the wetlands board to the circuit court of the Isle of Wight County, Virginia, the court may enjoin the unlawful act and order the defendant to take any steps necessary to restore, protect, and preserve the dunes or beaches involved. This remedy shall be exclusive of and in addition to any criminal penalty which may be imposed under Section 28.2-1418 [of the Code of Virginia]. (10-15-09.)
