This district is intended to preserve the character of existing neighborhoods and
developments in existence at the time of adoption of this ordinance. It is designed
to prevent these neighborhoods and subdivisions, consisting of different lot sizes,
from becoming nonconforming under the terms of this ordinance. Such neighborhoods
are relatively uniform in character and stable. These regulations permit future development
consistent with existing character. Areas, identified as having a stable and fixed
character, will be allowed to continue to exist and develop under the general regulations
governing their design and construction or under the actual plat previously approved.
This district is not intended for nor shall be used to establish new lots that are
not already platted or approved through conditional zoning. (11-17-16; 7-19-18; 11-15-18.)
