When the extension of the conventional sewer system is not currently planned and septic
tank technology is not an economically viable option, the county may authorize the
installation of temporary alternative sewage disposal options, provided that such
options are deemed effective and are approved by all applicable regulatory agencies
such as the Virginia Department of Health and the Isle of Wight County health department.
Connection to county sewer facilities shall be required, should such facilities become
available at any point in the future. (5-21-09.)
