§ 14-59. Same—When required.

  • New commercial and/or industrial construction or development, manufactured home parks, multiple dwellings and all subdivisions of five lots or more, within development service districts and other specifically designated areas, shall be required to install sewer systems in the development at their sole cost, and to dedicate the systems to the county. The developer will be required, at the discretion of the county, to extend the county system, in accordance with the master plan to the proposed development, or to provide dry sewers and local onsite facilities (i.e., septic tanks, etc.), in compliance with all applicable regulations, for the development. An agreement between the county and the developer shall state the improvements required. Requirements of developers for development, not within development service districts and other specifically designated areas, regarding the provision of sewer facilities, will be established by, and at the discretion of, the county.
