§ 2-26. Operational authority.

The Isle of Wight County Sheriff shall have the authority to make such appropriations as may be necessary to arm, equip, uniform and maintain such auxiliary deputy force and shall have the authority to prescribe the uniform, organization, and such rules as he deems necessary for the operation of the auxiliary deputy sheriff force.
