§ 5-9. One supervisor per district; districts also constitute school districts.

The magisterial districts of the county shall remain the same, but the representation on the board of supervisors shall be by election district and all sections of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, providing for election or appointment on the basis of magisterial districts shall be construed to provide for election or appointment on the basis of election districts in the county, pursuant to section 15.2-1211 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, and such election districts in the county of Isle of Wight, shall also constitute school districts in accordance with section 22.1-36 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended.
