§ 7-1. Fire departments and rescue squad designated as part of county safety program.

The Carrollton Volunteer Fire Department, Carrsville Volunteer Fire Department, Rushmere Volunteer Fire Department, Smithfield Volunteer Fire Department, Windsor Volunteer Fire Department, Isle of Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad and Windsor Volunteer Rescue Squad are hereby recognized as an integral part of the official safety program of the county and as such are entitled to all the benefits accruing to them as shall or may be available as provided for in sections 15.1-136.1 through 15.1-136.7 of the Code of Virginia.
