§ 7-11. Fire code appeals board.

The fire code appeals board is hereby established and shall be made up of those same members appointed by the Isle of Wight County Board of Supervisors to act as members of the board of building appeals. The board shall be composed of at least five members who meet the qualifications set out in the Statewide Fire Prevention Code. The members of the fire code appeals board shall be appointed by the board of supervisors to serve, at the pleasure of the board of supervisors, for four-year terms. The fire code appeals board shall hear appeals made by any person who has been cited for a violation and is aggrieved by any decision or interpretation of the fire code official made under the provisions of the Statewide Fire Prevention Code. Such appeals shall be submitted and heard in accordance with the provisions of the Statewide Fire Prevention Code. (6-14-18.)
