§ 7-6. Fire code adoption.

Latest version.

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 27-98 of the Code of Virginia (1950, as amended), those provisions contained within the Virginia Statewide Fire Prevention Code related to open burning, fire lanes and fireworks, in its current form and as amended in the future, is hereby adopted by Isle of Wight County, except as otherwise modified or amended in this article, and the same is hereby incorporated fully by reference. Said adoption of those specific Virginia Statewide Fire Prevention Code provisions are made in accordance with Sections 15.2-922.1, 15.2-974 and 46.2-1305 of the Code of Virginia (1950, as amended).
