§ 9-3. Same—Location and screening.

No person shall own, operate, keep, have or maintain within the limits of this county any junk yard unless such junk yard is located not nearer than four hundred yards, at its closest point, to any public highway, but any such "automobile graveyard" may be located not closer than two hundred feet, at its nearest point, to any public highway; provided, that the entire lot is enclosed by a solid fence at least six feet high equipped with gates of the same type and height as the fence. Such fence shall be kept in a sightly condition at all times and all gates attached thereto shall be kept closed during other than business hours. (2-6-47, § 3.)
