§ D-3. Applicability of subdivision and zoning ordinances.

The applicants for each of the agricultural districts established according to section D-1 above agree that the Isle of Wight county subdivision ordinance and zoning ordinance and any regulations applicable to agriculture shall be applicable to each district; provided, that such ordinance or regulation is not in conflict with the Agricultural and Forestal District Act of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Further, the planning commission, for land-use planning purposes, shall take into account the special status of both land adjacent to the agricultural districts established herein as well as land lying within the agricultural districts themselves.
